Personnel without access to Offutt AFB need to call the unit in advance so we
can arrange to have someone meet you at the Capehart Road (STRATCOM) Gate.
To get to the Capehart Road (STRATCOM) Gate via HWY 75:
NOTE: This is the only gate that non-CAP members or personnel without other access to the
base should use.
- Take HWY 75 to the Capehart Road exit if heading South, or the Fort Crook Road exit if heading
North
- Head East on Capehart Road to the Capehart Road (STRATCOM) Gate
To get to the OFFCS facility from the Capehart Road (STRATCOM) Gate:
NOTE: This is the only gate that members without other access to the
base should use.
- Offutt CAP members should ask the guard at the gate to check the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) - Offutt Composite Squadron Activities EAL to gain access to the base.
- Go through the gate
- Turn Left at the first intersection (SAC Blvd)
- Follow that road as it goes past the US Strategic Command missiles and Base
Exchange complex
- Take the next left onto Grant's Pass
- Building 44 is on the left side of the road
To get to the Kenney (or "Flag") Gate via HWY 75:
NOTE: Do not use this gate unless you already have access to the base
through another means (DoD access or already an Offutt CAP Squadron member).
- Take HWY 75 to the HWY 370 exit, you will see a sign for the base
- Head East on HWY 370 to the Fort Crook Rd exit, there will be signs for the base
- Take Fort Crook Rd South to the Kenney (or "Flag") Gate, you will see a bunch of flag
poles, and static displays of a B-52 and EC-135 aircraft
To get to the OFFCS facility from the Kenney (or "Flag") Gate:
NOTE: Do not use this gate unless you already have access to the base
through another means (DoD access or already an Offutt CAP Squadron member).
- Offutt CAP members should ask the guard at the gate to check the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) - Offutt Composite Squadron Activities EAL to gain access to the base.
- Go through the gate
- Turn right at the first intersection (SAC Blvd)
- Follow that road as it winds its way around the flight line towards the Base Exchange
- Take a right onto Grant's Pass just before the Base Exchange
- Building 44 is on the left side of the road
